Some products come and go, but every now and then you find one that earns a permanent place in your bathroom cabinet.

For me, SBC Arnica Skincare Gel is one of those products.

I’ve been using it for over 15 years, and it’s one product I always make sure I have at home. It is also hubby’s favourite - he uses it everyday. In fact, when SBC contacted me to ask if I’d like to review another bottle, I was almost at the end of my own one-litre bottle, so the timing couldn’t have been better.

Although I’d always bought mine through QVC, it’s also available directly from SBC.

What Is SBC Arnica Skincare Gel?

SBC Arnica Skincare Gel is a lightweight, non-greasy gel containing extracts of Arnica montana, a flowering plant that has traditionally been used in skincare products.

The gel absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue, making it easy to use whenever you need a refreshing, cooling sensation.

One of the reasons I like it so much is how quickly it dries. Within a few moments of applying it, I can carry on with my day without feeling like I’ve got product sitting on my skin.

Why I’ve Used It for So Many Years

Over the years, I’ve found myself reaching for this gel time and time again.

It’s become one of those products I automatically keep stocked because the whole family uses it.

The large pump bottle is particularly practical, dispensing just the right amount each time, and because a little goes a long way, it lasts surprisingly well.

One of the reasons I’ve continued buying SBC Arnica Gel for over 15 years is its versatility. While everyone will use it differently, it’s become one of those products I naturally reach for after a busy day in the garden, family walks, or when the children have had the usual bumps and scrapes that come with being outdoors. I simply enjoy the instant cooling, refreshing sensation it provides.

It spreads easily, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my hands feeling greasy afterwards.

Because it isn’t heavy or sticky, it’s equally suitable during warmer weather when richer creams can sometimes feel uncomfortable.

What I Personally Use SBC Arnica Gel For

Over the years, I’ve found myself reaching for SBC Arnica Gel time and time again. Some of the occasions I’ve personally used it include:

After minor bumps and knocks – I enjoy the cooling sensation it provides.
After gardening or spending time outdoors – It feels lovely and refreshing on tired skin.
After brushing against stinging nettles – I like applying the cooling gel to the affected area.*

One of my favourites is their Collagen Skincare Gel, which has a similarly lightweight texture and leaves my skin feeling beautifully hydrated.

Final Thoughts

After more than 15 years of using SBC Arnica Skincare Gel, it’s safe to say it has become one of my most repurchased skincare products.

I like its lightweight texture, cooling feel and the fact that a bottle lasts such a long time.

Although skincare is always a personal choice, it’s one product I continue to keep in my bathroom cabinet and have no hesitation recommending based on my own experience.
