Krafted Couch Arm Chair Charger Review: Charge While You Relax
I’m love finding new simple, practical gadgets that actually make day-to-day life easier especially ones that don’t add clutter. So when I tried the Couch wireless sofa charger by Krafted, I was genuinely curious whether it would be a gimmick… or a game-changer.
Spoiler: it’s one of those “why didn’t I have this sooner?” products.
What is it?
The Krafted Couch charger is a slim, flexible wireless charging pad that sits over the arm of your sofa. You simply drape it over the armrest, plug it in, and place your phone on top no cables, no reaching for plugs, no balancing your phone on the edge of the sofa.
It’s designed to stay put, and honestly, it does.
First Impressions
Straight out of the box, it feels well-made and minimal. The neutral colour blends in nicely with furniture (which I appreciate no ugly tech sticking out in the living room).
Setup took seconds:
Plug in via USB-C
Lay it over the arm of the sofa
Done
No apps, no faff.
Real-Life Use (The Important Bit)
This is where it really excels.
I’ve been using it daily, and it easily charges both:
My iPhone
My husband’s Samsung Z Flip
So compatibility-wise, it’s spot on for a mixed-device household.
What I love:
No more hunting for charging cables
Perfect for evenings on the sofa (especially when you’re already comfy and don’t want to move)
Keeps your phone in one place instead of getting lost in cushions
Works through cases (always a win)
And for me personally, anything that reduces effort especially on low-energy days is a huge plus.
Comfort & Practicality
One thing I wondered: would it feel awkward on the armrest?
Not at all.
It’s:
Soft and flexible
Slim enough not to get in the way
Stable doesn’t slide around constantly
You can still rest your arm nearby without it feeling intrusive.
Any Downsides?
A couple of small things to be aware of:
You do need to position your phone properly for charging to start (standard for wireless charging)
If your sofa arm is very wide or very narrow, the fit might vary slightly. (we have a wide sofa arm, and it fits nicely)
Nothing major, just worth noting.
Who Is This Good For?
Honestly, quite a few people:
Anyone who lives on their sofa (no judgement 😄)
People who hate cable clutter
Households with multiple phone types
Those with chronic illness or fatigue (less reaching, less effort)
Families, great for keeping phones in one place
Final Thoughts
The Krafted Couch arm charger is one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference to everyday life.
It’s simple, tidy, and genuinely useful and the fact it works for both my iPhone and my husband’s Samsung Z Flip makes it even better.
Would I recommend it?
Yes especially if you want convenience without adding more mess.
