Summer loves to go to the swimming pool and take a dip, although she is not very confident in the water as she can anxious about the experience.  If your little one is nervous about getting in the pool, then the below top tips from Rebecca Adlington are a good starting point.

We've been a fan of K'NEX for many years - the first time I bought it was for my Oldest son, 13 years ago, and since then, it has been favourite of ours; Jacob's fav construction toy.

Jacob loves K'NEX, he spends hours playing and creating all sorts of builds. I love how it brings out his creative and innovative side, this is done by him either using his own imagination or by following the instructions.  We've bought, owned and reviewed a quite a few K'NEX sets over the years, and were excited to receive the WEb Weaver to review.

I've always been a cartoon fan and really enjoy watching animated movies with the kids.  Monster Island didn't disappoint, both myself and the kids really enjoyed it. A fun story and the characters are great.

It's okay to be different!

I've not owned a watch for, well, years. Have I missed wearing one? Yes.  So when I was invited to choose a watch to review from Plus Watches I was super excited.

Last night we watched the latest Kazoops Episode (number 63) Fun With Clouds.

I love having books in the home, especially ones that are packed full with interesting stuff, especially facts - everyone loves facts. The kids love reading different facts and discovering and being amazed all at the same time, and this book by Tracey Turner does just that.

Summer has created a magical mermaid world, with My Mermaid Lagoon.  Summer loves doing anything arts and crafts, I knew she would love this set from Interplay.

It's been Minions madness this summer, a whole lot of yellow fun.

Dynamite Dare is a fun game.  

The aim of the game is to stop the time bomb detonating in order to win - Diffuse or lose! Players take it in turns to flip down one of the many fuses, with the hope of finding the one fuse that will stop the bomb. Be careful as you may be unlucky and flip the fuse that causes the dynamite to be launched - and making everyone jump at the same time. Fail to flip all the fuses in time and the bomb will go off. 

The first time I heard of FreshPets is when hubby came home from Tesco's and told me about a new fridge they had installed in the pet aisle and that it had a new pet food. It told me that I should take a look at it when I next pop in.

FreshPet isn't new, they have been around for 10+ years, and big in the US. Tesco's is the first UK retailer to offer the complete range. Freshpet pet food is all-natural, never processed, and made with fresh ingredients. They were kind enough to send me a bag full of their food for review, and my cats were happy to be the reviewers. 

We really enjoyed reviewing Stretch Armstrong, he's still going strong and Jacob has stretched him alot!  So we were super excited to be sent Stretch Armstrong Vac Man to review.

Vac Man is back, with new stronger formula which is ideal for 21st-century fun, and he can be stretched to 4 times his original size.  Vac Man is a 14″ fully stretchable and poseable Vac powered action figure. He's quite heavy and robust.

We've been reviewing inflated minions - and it's as fun as it sounds.

Jacob and Summer love Minions, and we took Summer along for her first visit to a cinema to watch Despicable Me 3 last week, which she loved. So as you can imagine, they were super excited to be sent some fantastic Radio Control Inflatable Characters to review. Jacob received Tom the Minion, and Summer received Fluffy.

The home renovations seem never ending at the moment. We started the big task last year and although we've achieved lots and it's starting to look great, we're still not finished - lots to do and more money needed.

Last week we completed the garage conversion, changing it into a playroom, and the next job we will be moving onto is to get the best out of our new utility room we had built a few months ago. It's currently being used as a temporary storage room, but now we have the extension and conversion done, we started clearing the utility room out.
