Leaving the house with chronic illness is never just leaving the house.

There is always that quiet what if running in the background.
What if I need something and I do not have it.
What if the pain flares halfway through.

Some days with chronic illness feel heavier than others.

On those days, I find myself coming back to small, gentle reminders like these. Not to fix anything, not to pretend everything is okay, but just to soften the moment a little.

I thought it was just a trapped nerve.
