BABY born RC Scooter and helmet review
BABY born RC Scooter and Helmet Review (Honest Playtime Review)
We were kindly sent the BABY born RC Scooter and matching helmet to review, and honestly… this has been such a fun addition to Summer’s ever-growing doll collection.
If your little one is currently deep in their doll era like mine is, you’ll know how exciting it is when something new actually adds a different kind of play. This one really does.
Summer has especially loved using it with her BABY born Sister doll, and it’s quickly become one of those toys that gets played with daily rather than forgotten about after five minutes (always a win).
What’s Included
BABY born City RC Scooter (RRP £42.99)
The scooter is fully remote-controlled and designed for BABY born dolls to ride comfortably while being driven around.
Key features:
Multi-directional remote control
Easy-grip handlebars for dolls
Flashing indicator lights (a surprisingly fun detail!)
Built-in stabiliser to keep it upright
Comes with sticker sheets so your child can personalise it
BABY born City Scooter Helmet (RRP £10.99)
The helmet is such a cute addition and honestly completes the whole set.
Features:
Bright pink design
Fold-down visor
Adjustable strap
Matches the scooter perfectly
It also subtly introduces the idea of safety during play, which I really like.
Playtime Experience
This is where the scooter really shines.
The RC Scooter adds a completely new layer of interactive play. Instead of just sitting dolls in place, Summer can actually move her BABY born around the house, which makes everything feel more real and engaging.
She picked up the controls really quickly, and it’s simple enough for younger children to get the hang of without frustration.
The stabiliser is a great touch too, no constant falling over (which, let’s be honest, would get old fast).
Watching her zoom her doll from room to room has been genuinely lovely. It’s imaginative play, but with that extra interactive element that keeps her interested for longer.
Quality & Design
I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy everything feels.
The scooter is solid and well-made
The controller is responsive and easy to use
The helmet fits well and doesn’t feel flimsy
The added details (like lights and stickers) make it feel more premium
It doesn’t feel like one of those toys that will break after a few uses, which matters so much when you’re investing in accessories.
What We Loved
Encourages imaginative, role-play learning
Adds movement and interaction to doll play
Easy for children to control
Personalisation with stickers
Strong, durable build quality
Super cute design (this definitely matters!)
Anything to Consider
You’ll need space for driving it around (it’s more fun when they have room to zoom!)
Best suited for children aged 3+
Works best with BABY born Sister-sized dolls
Final Thoughts
If your child already loves BABY born dolls, this feels like a really natural next addition.
It’s not just another accessory, it actually changes how they play.
For us, it’s been one of those toys that keeps getting picked up again and again, which says everything.
