It's so lovely getting the whole family together and sitting around the table and playing a game together, laughing and enjoying each others company. And, you know when it is a good game, when the kids want to play it over and over again.
Project Mc2 Spy Bag - National STEAM Day
STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering Arts and Maths. And, today is National STEAM day, a day designed to celebrate and inspire children to get involved with all 4 subjects. Specifically, National STEAM Day is to raise awareness for these subjects and girl's involvement with them.
Shimmer and Shine Pony Tail Assortment and Wish Come True Purse Set
We were sent both the Shimmer and Shine Pony Tail Assortment and the Wish Come True Purse Set.
Shimer and Shine is a TV show where two genies in training called, Shimmer and Shine, work with their friend Leah. The girls work together to try and grant wishes for Leah when things often go wrong. They all work together to fix the problem. Summer is a huge Shimmer and Shine fan so she was super excited to be receiving these two sets to try out and review - since we've opened them, she hasn't stopped wearing/playing with them.
Review: Mitre Personalised Football
My boys love their footballs, we have a lot in the garden. We have that many they have their own garden storage box. A few are very old, deflated and tatty but no matter what state they are in, they still get played with. One game my boys play is to fill the trampoline up with all the footballs, and then get in there with them, kick, bounce, and all sorts. The boys also spend hours in the garden with each playing football - it's the only 'thing' they really do together, all three of them, playing footie and I love watching them when they do.

The girls are back and this time with their new InstaPets (aka their spirit animals).

Labyrinth Game by Ravensburg
We love playing board games. It brings the whole family together, where we sit around the table, spending time away from screens and just enjoying each others company. I grew up playing board games with the family and friends, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Pictionary and many more. But, I've never played Labyrinth before, so when I was invited to review it, I was excited to see what it was - it didn't disappoint! Labyrinth by Ravensburg is a great board game.
Num Noms Halloween #SpookySenses!
Num Noms have really taken off in this house. Both Summer and Jacob love collecting and playing and experimenting with the different scents. They have loads of fun with Num Noms.
Num Noms are a collectible toy and each Num Nom has a unique smell. They offer different food smells which you can then stack onto each other. You can mix and match the smells to create some delicious matches. With over 5000 possible combinations!
Review: Infacare Baby Bath
The kids love baths, they will spend ages playing and splashing and blowing the bubble. But like me, they have sensitive skin and eczema. Thus, I'm always careful with what products we buy, to make sure they don't irritate their or my skin.
Infacare is pH balanced and is gentle and it excludes Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, a common irritant for little ones suffering from eczema.
Trolls Hug Time Bracelet and Poppy Wig from Just Play
Everyone is talking about Trolls at the moment, the kids are excited about these fun new characters, and the adults are getting all nostalgic about them. (I know I am! I want a Troll for myself). I had a few Trolls back in my day, all lined up on my shelf, different hair colours, all fun - I wish I didn't chuck them out now! I'll be getting my kids some Trolls for Christmas.
Zoomer Hedgiez
It's not long until Christmas! I enjoy buying the toys and gifts for the kids, the wrapping up.... and then the big day. But when shopping I always find there are many toys to choose from, far too many! It can be a challenge, what to get, what not to get.
This is why I enjoy reviewing toys, as we get to discover and experience some pretty cool stuff. The latest cool toy were have been trying out is Zoomer Hedgiez - which Summer absolutely loves, she plays with it every day.

The Rat in the Loft
Last Christmas, hubby and the kids were getting the boxes of Christmas decorations out of the loft, when I heard hubby shout in alarm, I came out of the kitchen to see the kids scrambling and hubby shouting 'mouse'. It ran down the stairs and past me into the lounge. We cornered it and I said 'that's a big damn mouse'. We opened the doors and it ran out. That was that... so we thought.

We love Halloween, every year we decorate the house and throw a part; we take the kids trick or treating and enjoy the atmosphere of the night (and eat loads of sweets and chocolate). Sadly this year, the first since many years we won't be hosting a party (due to the extension being built, it's just not possible for us this year).
