Elli Wollard collaborates with award-winning illustrator and animation director Benji Davies who has created illustrations for many bestselling picture books. Elli Woollard started writing stories after an embarrassing incident in which her youngest son broke Michael Rosen’s glasses.

In addition to picture books, she also writes children's poems with her catchy rhythms and witty stories - which are great fun for you and your little one to read together.

I don’t know about you but I find my hubby extremely difficult to buy for.

I am at a loss when it comes to buying my hubby a gift, whether it be for Christmas, birthday or fathers day. Each year I get hubby the same, his favourite brandy, a Toblerone, or some slippers -  but it's getting a little boring and repetitive, each year buying the same things. so this year for Father's Day I am going to let my kids make all the choices. So I asked Jacob and Summer a couple of questions:

Unlike other fizzy drinks, Karma Cola is a delicious craft cola made with real cola nut and the best organic and Fairtrade ingredients. Its original recipe combines cola nut from the Boma village in Sierra Leone with vanilla bean from the Forest Garden Growers Association in Sri Lanka and Fairtrade organic cane sugar from the Suminter Organic Farmers Cooperative in Bhimanagar India.

I love doing crafts with Summer and Jacob and I believe that doing crafts with kids is a great way to spend time with children while helping them develop important skills.  The best part is, they thoroughly enjoy it and it gets them away from screens.

With the half term here, and May Bank Holiday coming up, we have lots of activities organized to keep the kids occupied and entertained, from woodland and beach walks, visits the park, arts-and-crafts and some family fun board games - our newest one, Don't Rock The Boat from University Games.

Captain Pug - The Dog Who Sailed The Seas,  written by Laura James and illustrated by Eglantine Ceulemans. The book is aimed for children aged 5 - 7 years old. It is brightly illustrated on the cover and on the page throughout the book. 

Jacob and Summer love playing with boxes, building and making all sorts of creations, using their imagination and having lots of creative fun. So when we were sent the cardboard house from Wiplii we were super excited.

For all you Football fans out there, this is the puzzle for you. 

The design of the puzzle is one with a nostalgic scene where the children playing football in the park using their jumpers for goal posts and playing with an old football (just how we used to do it as children).  However, the image shows the kids are using their imagination to capture all the excitement of when England last won the World Cup, 1966, but imagining they are playing in the famous Wembley.

We love taking the kids and dogs out for walks, and we lucky enough to live in a beautiful area. We are spoilt for choice on where to go, from the beach to the cliffs, and plenty of wooded areas, to the marshes and so much more.  Sometimes the kids like to bring their bikes or scooters so they can explore and have fun whilst whizzing around.

When we went for our latest weekend walk Summer wanted to take her new Y Velo Balance Bike. Since receiving it for review a couple of days ago, she has been practising on it inside the house and in the garden none stop, but she was super keen to take it outside the house where there is more room to whizz around.

Poppy is nearly a year old, and the past 10 months have been a joy having her as our newest family member.  She is a beagle, thus, she is full of naughty beagle traits and challenges, but we love her to bits.  

Training Poppy has been so much fun, she is quick and fun to train.  Being a beagle she is food driven, thus, I use all sorts of treats. So when I was invited to review Duerr's Peamutt Butter, a peanut butter just for dogs, we were super excited to give it a go.

We love a good game (non-computer type), it brings the family together and takes us away from the screens. Thus, when we were invited to review the Randomise Game, we couldn't wait to try it out.

With all this wet weather lately, we've been doing lots of rainy-day indoor activities.  The kids favourite was definitely playing with Plasticine Softeez.
