We received a free copy of Gigantosaurus to review.

About the game

You choose one of four young dinosaurs to play with: Tiny (the triceratops, where you use her skull to smash), Rocky (the Parasaurolophus dino), Mazu (the Ankylosaurus dino), and Bill (a hungry brachiosaurus dino). The game has different levels, where in each level you have to collect dinosaur eggs scattered throughout the Gigantosaurus dino world and bring them back to their nests. There are a few other additional quests along the way.

Once you complete each level, it takes you to a kart race, where you take part in a race to take you to the next level.

Summer’s review

You can go around collecting coins, jump on flowers to jump to get coins, watch out for the silver coins. You buy more Dinosaur skins with your coins. Collect the hearts to build your health.

To get to the next level you have to collect all the dinosaur eggs and take them back to their nest - this is the quest on your treasure map. It’s great fun.

There is so much to do - you can ride on a log, jump really high in boots. You use the boots to jump high to collect the coins that are in the air. Jump in the water to cross over. You need to use each dinosaur character to help you around the levels, I like swapping between the different dinosaurs.

Summers tips:

If you see little green flowers and in a tiny bowl, if you spin on them they give you coins.

Beware of the bad dinosaurs and giant carnivorous plants.
